Olympic Day 2025
Sunday, Jun 22Hello Friends,
Tomorrow, June 23rd, Archery Guyana proudly joins the World to celebrate Olympic Day 2025 under the theme: “Let’s Move?”
The International Olympic Committee has used its movement and their reach through sport to share the importance of movement, our Federation, Archery Guyana totally supports this concept.
In a world facing rising levels of inactivity and disconnection, movement - through sport, walking, or simply showing up is one of our greatest tools for unity, wellness, and joy.
We encourage you all to take a step, a stretch, a breath, a moment. Movement is your power. If you are gifted with tomorrow, double today’s effort and move with intention.
Let us recommit to: Move for health, Move for connection and Move for each other.
All are invited to come out on Olympic Day, June 23, 2025 at 5:15pm to the Kingston Seawall with your exercise gear and bring a flag if you can. Let’s Move?
Warm regards,
Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon
President, Archery Guyana
